Required a renewed target operating model to facilitate a significant digital transformation which necessitated the transition from a single supplier to a multiple supplier model.

Ucubia was engaged to act as the technical and service architecture authority on behalf of the client, with the objective of delivering  next generation secure data centre services and to amalgamate this with new cloud services necessary for the introduction of advanced business analytics, secure data sovereignty and new methods for customer engagement to better compete and innovate in a highly competitive marketplace.

The Ucubia team collaborated directly with multiple suppliers and client programme stakeholders,  to deliver the data centre infrastructure and highly scalable network infrastructure  which was completed on time and to budget.

Due to the success of the initial programme, Ucubia was re-engaged to provide architecture authority and technical expertise on behalf of the client to transition legacy telephony services for over 10,000 users to a unified communications framework enabling greater business productivity, operating cost reduction, multi-channel analytics and customer digital engagement.

The transition was completed on time and with succession planning enabling the to develop new revenue generating services and offer a world class customer service.

Financial insurance sector client UK based with global presence was struggling with poor market performance and compliancy issues that necessitated the need to restructure and rebrand the organisation to maximise its market share and compete with other major players in the market.

Ucubia was engaged to provide the independent due diligence of the IT infrastructures, associated service contracts and to assess the people skills and fit for the desired strategy and future direction of the organisation.

The objective was to deliver the overall restructure strategy, cognisant of the associated sensitivities of existing people and talent, and the novation of service contracts to acquiring businesses as part of the restructure.

Ucubia provided architecture and project structure to the rebranded business forming renewed licensing, new global support contracts, network infrastructures and cloud service transition.

The restructure, rebranding and transition activities were completed within the regulatory mandated 6-month timeframe, and delivered effective and competitive new business structure to take advantage of a highly competitive market place.

Established reseller client transforming to a service provider model offering hosted unified communications and IaaS services to SME and SMB businesses.

Ucubia was engaged to provide & define programme structures, develop a secured technology infrastructure and support management framework with the objective to deliver scalable self-service cloud services.

Leveraging expertise on behalf of the client, Ucubia produced the supplier RFI undertaking a principle advisory role to the board and stakeholders. This included the development principle guideline strategies and client succession planning.

The baseline cloud service infrastructure was designed, sourced, implemented and delivered within the programme timeframe in readiness for customer on-boarding trials which were ultimately successfully completed, leading to successful entry into the UK cloud services market.

Poor supplier performance necessitated the transition from a single supplier to a multiple supplier model. Significant information gaps from the incumbent supplier were resulting in significant gaps in licensing & Service.

The multiple supplier model could not easily facilitate the transition of legacy systems without the need for independent external expertise and the associated programme management skills resulting in significant legal involvement, operating cost reclamation and supplier resource retractions exposing the organisation to significant risk.
